DESCRIPTION:
A specialty studio for Intel to develop and promote volumetric-capture filmmaking technology, located in a Manhattan Beach Studios soundstage. The project consists of a 10,000 SF geodesic dome structure with over 100 high-resolution digital cameras to capture a performance from all angles, then compute the data to allow the performance to be viewed from any virtual camera location. Also included are a computer server facility and production offices.
